Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and results-driven Digital Marketing Specialist to oversee
the creation, maintenance, SEO management, and performance marketing for our website. The ideal
candidate will be responsible for driving high-quality traffic to our website through effective SEO
strategies, optimizing site performance, and managing digital advertising campaigns to increase
visitors and improve conversions. This role will also involve the regular upkeep of the website to ensure
a smooth user experience and ensure alignment with overall digital marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Website Creation & Maintenance:
- Lead the creation, design, and development of the company’s website, ensuring
it is user-friendly, visually appealing, and aligned with brand goals.
• Regularly update and maintain website content, ensuring that it reflects current
products, services, and company news.
• Optimise website layout, navigation, and mobile responsiveness to ensure the
best possible user experience.
• Ensure the website integrates seamlessly with other digital tools, including CRM
systems, email marketing platforms, and analytics tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website-related issues quickly, ensuring minimal
downtime.
2. Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research to develop an SEO strategy that drives
organic traffic.
• Optimise on-page SEO (meta tags, headers, images, internal linking, etc.) to
improve the website’s search engine ranking.
• Implement and manage technical SEO efforts, including improving page speed,
site architecture, and mobile optimisation.
• Perform regular audits of the website to identify and fix SEO issues, monitor
keyword rankings, and refine strategies accordingly.
• Develop and manage content strategies to support SEO, including blog posts,
landing pages, and other relevant content.
3. Performance Marketing:
- Plan, execute, and optimise paid advertising campaigns across various platforms
(Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram, etc.) to drive qualified
traffic to the website.
• Develop A/B tests for ad creatives, landing pages, and website elements to
improve conversion rates and overall campaign performance.
• Track and analyse key performance metrics (KPIs), such as cost per click (CPC),
conversion rates, and return on ad spend (ROAS).
• Manage budgets for paid campaigns and adjust strategies to maximize return on
investment.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align performance marketing efforts with
overall business objectives.
4. Increase Website Traffic & Conversion:
- Develop and implement strategies to increase the volume of qualified visitors to
the website through both organic and paid channels.
• Create and manage campaigns aimed at improving website traffic, engagement,
and conversions.
• Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop landing pages and
other conversion-focused content.
• Monitor user behaviour on the website to identify potential issues, bottlenecks,
or opportunities to improve the user journey.
5. Analytics & Reporting:
- Monitor and report on website performance, SEO rankings, traffic growth, and
digital marketing campaign results using analytics tools (Google Analytics,
SEMrush, Google Search Console, etc.).
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data to improve
website traffic, user experience, and marketing performance.
• Regularly report progress to management, including key insights and
recommendations for improving website performance and marketing ROI.
6. Collaboration & Strategy Alignment:
- Work closely with internal teams (design, content, sales) to ensure the website
reflects the company’s branding, messaging, and goals.
• Ensure that website development and digital marketing strategies are aligned
with business objectives, ensuring a cohesive approach across all digital
channels.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing communication preferred / graduate in any discipline.
Certificate in Web Development, Digital Media, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, including website creation, maintenance, SEO,
and performance marketing.
• Strong understanding of website development platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Wix) and
experience with content management systems (CMS).
• Proven experience with SEO management, including on-page SEO, link building, and technical
SEO.
• Strong knowledge of performance marketing tools, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and
LinkedIn Ads.
• Familiarity with website analytics tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Google Search
Console.
• Experience in running A/B testing and using data to drive improvements in website
performance and digital campaigns.
• Solid understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies and best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including designers, content
creators, and developers.
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with email marketing, CRM integration, and lead generation strategies.
• Experience with website UX/UI design and improving user journey.
• Understanding of eCommerce platforms and the ability to optimize for online sales.
• Familiarity with social media advertising and paid campaigns beyond Google Ads.
